Night Prayer and Monthly Dinner

The Night Prayer (Salatul Isha) is organized by a small number of the key-carrying members of UVIC at about 9:30 PM. The members communicate through Whatsap before attending the event. The event is semi-regular at best. The Imam of the Mosque may or may not be present in the event. The service lasts for about 20 minutes.

A monthly potluck dinner is organized at the Sunset Prayer of the first Friday of every Gregorian (Solar) Month. Local Muslim families bring food items, singles and visitors (Muslims or non-Muslims) join as the guests of honor.  An invited Imam or Preacher delivers a short lecture after the dinner. The event ends after the Night Prayer (the total time it takes is about 2-3 hours). You are invited. The event is announced and confirmed at the Friday Congregational Prayer.
